Computer Science Minor

A minor in computer science may be earned by completing CIST 1400, CSCI 1620, CIST 3100, CIST 2500, CSCI 2710, CSCI 3320, CSCI 3710, and either CSCI 4220 or CSCI 4500, requiring a total of 24 semester hours.

A minor in computer science can also be obtained by completing CIST 1400, CSCI 1620, CIST 3100, CIST 2500, 6 semester hours of computer science (CSCI) courses at the 2000 level or above, and an additional 6 semester hours of computer science courses at the 3000 level or above.

In all cases, students are responsible for completing any courses identified as prerequisite or corequisite for the courses in the minor. For complete details about the courses, please refer to the university catalog.
