Second Baccalaureate Degree Students who already hold a baccalaureate degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha may obtain a second baccalaureate degree in computer science by completing a minimum of 30 additional semester hours. Specific Requirements To obtain a second bacclaureate degree in computer science you must obtain credit for each of the courses required for the degree. This includes 12 semester hours of IS&T core courses, 27 semester hours of computer science core courses, 24 semester hours comprising a computer science core extension, and 16 hours of mathematics. A plan of study for the additional hours, approved by the department chair, must be filed with the department office. Students must consult an academic advisor prior to starting the program. Some transfer coursework may apply. However, 30 of the last 36 semester hours for the degree must be registered for and completed at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. |
