Natural and Physical Science Requirements

You must complete a two-course sequence and a laboratory from one of the following areas. Additional courses that may be used to satisfy the minimum requirement of 12 semester hours are available in the departments identified in the pages linked on the left. Please see the university catalog for prerequisites and additional information about these courses.

The Chemistry Diagnostic Test is required before registering for CHEM 1180 or higher-level chemistry courses.
