Advanced Numerical Methods I

Error Propagation, solutions of linear equations by various schemes. Matrix norms and conditioning, computation of eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Additional topics such as non-linear systems, least square problems, etc. The computer algebra system Maple will be used.
