Genetic Algorithms

This course introduces the student to the fast growing field of genetic algorithms. The course covers the basic concepts of genetic algorithms and their implementations. Case studies from different fields such as chip design, scheduling, and information gathering are used to illustrate how genetic algorithms can be used to solve important problems efectively.
