CSCI 8000 This course studies the concepts and properties of programming languages in general. It covers the syntax of major programming languages such as the imperative, functional, and logic programming languages, and the semantics of programming languages such as those dealing with concurrency and object oriented programming. Topics in formal language theory, parsing, and formal methods of syntax description are also covered. Credit 3 semester hours Prerequisites CSCI 3320. Not open to nondegree students. |
